My Story
My interest in photography has always been there. But I only started taking it more seriously about 6 years ago, when I needed a break from corporate life.
My love for nature goes back to my early childhood. Somehow I feel a connection with everything that blooms and lives around us. Driven by a deep need to reconnect with nature, I set out with my camera β searching for the beauty and tranquility that are increasingly hard to find.
On Spothunter I share what I discover along the way: hiking routes through rugged landscapes, photo locations where you won’t meet a soul, and destinations where peace and quiet are still a given. From the coastal paths of Denmark to the mountain lakes of the Dolomites β always with practical info and GPS tracks, so you can hit the trail yourself.
NATURE
What Drives Me
Experience Nature and Capturing Natures Wonders through my Camera is a great Experience.
Nature is an endless source of inspiration for me. When you find yourself in the silence of a beautiful landscape, it can heal your mind and calm your thoughts. It’s pretty much the only place where my busy head truly finds rest.
An ideal day for me is a long hike through nature that ends at a spot so beautiful it simply has to be photographed. That feels like the ultimate reward. When you’re out with your camera searching for a scene, you slow down. You look around more carefully. You notice so many more details and things you would otherwise miss. That experience alone is already valuable.
Those moments are what I want to share β not just as photographs, but as routes you can walk yourself. Because the most beautiful places aren’t found along the beaten path.
