Lago di Sorapis is a stunning glacial lake situated at an elevation of approximately 1,923 meters in the Dolomites, near Cortina d'Ampezzo in northern Italy. Renowned for its striking turquoise-blue waters, the lake is encircled by dramatic mountain peaks, including the towering Dito di Dio ("God's Finger"). The lake's unique color is attributed to fine glacial silt suspended in the water. Accessible primarily via hiking trails, Lago di Sorapis offers visitors a serene and picturesque alpine experience.
